1.3.- Which language skills are required in order to attend IN SITU? Is knowledge of the German language a precondition?
All lectures of IN SITU are held in English. Since the lectures address specific legal issues of IT & IP Law, a good knowledge of English is required. Although we do not require any official proof of knowledge of the English language, we highlight that a B2 level is the minimum level that will allow you to follow the lectures and communicate with the other participants. Since the lectures are held exclusively in English and the official language of the IRI is also English, knowledge of the German language is neither a precondition nor will it affect your participation in IN SITU. In order to “survive” in your free-time, however, we recommend to buy at least a dictionary.
